Mustang Manual Steering Rack on a model A ??

Mustang Manual Steering Rack, ive seen these cheap and compaired to a cross steer or a vega setup ect.... there much more pocket savy then there counter parts. i was woundering if anyone has had the pleasure of working with one, would like to hear from them and maybe even know what there travel was

this one caught my eye and made me think.....

funny thing, I was looking at a similar system for my 49. nit sure how it would work out.

The rack's not the expensive part. The crossmember is! Wouldn't buy it if it was made in China either!

well being im building the frame from scratch a few clever ideas come to mind as far as mounting it goes, [

i did find that the later if im right mounts behind the crossmember verse hanging it in front like the one i posted, the trouble would then be the rack would work backwards as the rods would actuate the wheels[S

ill have to do a bit more looking..
was just wondering if anyone here had pulled it off already on a model a
