So I scored all of these items for $320 yesterday. A new blast cabinet, 2 complete (but rusty) MGB's, a Brockaway grille shell and a small slip roll. The place used to be a junk yard for the last 60 years. Most of the cars had been sold or crushed. There was still some late 70's chevy trucks, a very rusty 1964 C60 roll off car carrier (3 car size) and various bits laying around in the woods. I found an early dodge brothers front 1/2 of a frame with the axle. The solid wheels were even rusted through. A model T frame and front axle, some weird looking banjo axles with the pinion running through the top of the axle and a straight 8 engine block. Most was way beyond saving or had been run over with a skidder when the took the trees off the property recently. No bodies.

Nice score, those MG's are coming up in value.

Yes they are. If beyond saving part them out, you will have no problem selling the parts. That optional hardtop on the one should be worth a few bucks. They are both chrome bumper versions and the blue one looks pretty good.

I had a B back in the day! One of my fav girlfriends "convinced" me to buy it! Painted it that beautiful chocolate brown from the new TR6. Had the interior redone & had a real blast with it! The ladies definitely dug it & i used it to full advantage! Hardly ever put the top up!!! [ddd[ddd[ddd

As far as those MG's, the emissions systems are worth as much if not more than the other parts anymore. Don't toss any of it, some states require it to be in place. We're getting hit big time in Ontario and a few other provinces with old rules that were never enforced in the past but are now.

Slap a V8 in one of the MG's! Poor mans Cobra! [cl

Yeah. I was thinking a single turbo 5.3 would be fun :)

Lol! Not in either of these as they both are minus floors. BUT... I do happen to have my 1972 MGB body still, which is mint, which I did dismantle when I was 16 years old and have since lost a majority of the parts. Most of which I can replace with these 2 gems. Just a plain old 5.3L LM7 motor with an 04 ZO6 cam will make about 326 hp. I figure that and a 4L60E, leave the outside looking stock and horrify the purists!! [cl

they had 2 and said I could choose which one. The other was used and also $100. I took the new one...[cl
