thanks , my 47 coupe is all original did not wont to start cutting. little bear for this old man to steer and park
You really shouldn't have to do any cutting. I'm building from scratch so plenty of cutting / welding here. It would be a new steering column and the elec assist motor is built into the column. Should be pretty easy. Picture of what I'm using

OK....back to my build. I'm pretty excited. Bump Stops are in and the only things left before I can paint the frame are the E Brake Handle & cables, and my brake pedal rod thru the floor hole. I had to mount the bed to be sure of brake line & e brake interference's and mounted the cab for the brake pedal rod. I figured what the heck and slipped the nose piece on as well with the headlight buckets. One last fit-up before I shoot the frame. Nothing like seeing it together!

That's where the "want" starts to build! Putting those few pieces on and getting a better idea of what it's gonna look like will stir up the blood...

For sure buddy!
The journey on this truck has had many challenges and many distractions that took it out of the picture for a while, but here you are. Its getting close enough you can see it now.
I'm praying things progress without any more major interruptions and it turns out better then you expect. (y)

Thank you bro! Don't forget it was you in the early days that helped me figure my frame

Lots of help and guidance from the guys here. There is a whole lot of knowledge and experiences freely shared here.
We enjoy the success of those we help, almost as much as we enjoy our own success. ;)
