DON"T use lube on hole saws, i make sure that they turn slow and blow on them with an air hose. Hole saws by their design can't remove the chips, using oil gums them up and keeps the debris there, using an air hose and blowing on them removes the chips and keeps them cool. The air makes them cut faster also.
I can usually get a 100 or more holes out of a good bimetal hole saw through 1/8" steel.
