I have an old Ford tractor with a shredder & a push mower but that doesn't get it for a country property... you have to have a riding mower if you want to any chance of keeping up!

How much grass do you have to mow? I've got 2 acres, minus windbreak and buildings, about 80% is grass. A zero-turn came with the property, but I'd kinda like to get a regular rider so I could hook a tiller or blade to it. The zero-turn is great for mowing though.

Sam, we have 17 acres but will only use riding mower for about 1 acre. I shred the pastures when the weeds get outta control with my brush hog. Hope to buy another 17 with a house & outbuildings next door. We moved in & remodeled an old pier & beam house that my sissy-in-law & her son live in! Mrs Tripper & her sister are really close & it takes the pressure off me being her only source of entertainment! [ddd[ddd[ddd
