Use 1/4 inch plexiglass, its just straight glass in the doors anyways. I've done this on a few of my old rats. They look like cool rides, have fun...

I bought this ole girl 2 yrs ago for $500. No driveline no floors no interior no glass no front sheetmetal no wiring...just a shell that had a camaro clip and rear. I had a buddy with a 51 chevy that he started to chop the top on but got in way over his head. So i bought it for $600. It had a good doghouse new coker whitewalls. All new interior alotta parts i needed. After i stripped parts car of everything basically i traded it for a 82 harley....anyway. i used a s10 power brake booster and pedal assembly. Cut a stock column and used it. All new brakes, new lines etc. Painless wiring harness. Led taillights. This ole girl was the only driveable car i had last summer. I just pulled the wore out 350 and replaced it with a 327. Still buttoning up all the details..
