Was you one of them? haha. Funny thing, we had several on my road (not mine) get whacked a few years ago. Normally the cops wouldn't put much effort into finding the perps but they made the mistake of whacking a cops mailbox too. He was young and just out of some crime detection seminar so he was out there interviewing all the "victims", taking tire track imprints like it was a murder mystery. He did catch them and they were supposed to pay, don't know if they ever did, I sure didn't get paid for the ones I replaced for my neighbors (who promised to pay me when the court ordered restitution came in).
