Cool stuff. I'm a sky watcher myself but don't have a bunch of nice equipment like yours. We sure have had a nice looking moon these last couple nights.

WOW! SW have you ever considered how odd it is that the moon is at a full stop other than orbiting the Earth. How can it not be spinning even slightly.
Very strange i think.

its a very good time out there checkin out the moon and stuff. earthman, the moon is orbiting the earth. it doesnt spin, cuz its locked tidally with the earth. we also shot a vid that night. it kinda gives an idea of how rat rod our scientific work is.

Saturday night I took my roadster out to a biker gathering and when I was driving down the road to the shop coming back the moon was absolutely huge in front of me. It looked like you could almost reach out and touch it. In fact, for a while I thought it was some sort of a balloon they were flying over the city because we are having the Edison Parade that same night, but it was actually the moon.
