You did go over Wolf Creek[cl !!!! I don't think there is better view than that anywhere..
I have so many stories about that bump in the road LOL...... my grandfather hauled the coal and water in his 6 horse drawn freight wagon to the steam shovel that cut that road the first time, a trucker rammed my mom's car one winter to keep us from going over the edge, another time I found out after passing the first runaway truck ramp I had only one brake working on my car hauler weighing in at 80,000 lb, I've been in CLOUDS so thick you could not see the end of the hood on a Peterbuilt, and many more scary stories LOL............

I'm glad you had a good trip and enjoyed the view...and survived Wolf Creek Pass

We about hit a moose on our way down but other then that we didn't have any excitement.

Never went to Santa Rosa, we didn't have any leads there. Duane did give us a lot of leads that ended up with me getting the load that I bring home.

I meant Memory Lane Iron east of Tucumcari.

Yep we stopped there. Very cool guy! He was leaving as we pulled up but he insisted on opening the gate up and showing us around. I plan on stopping back in with my son so he can check out his stuff on my next trip.
