Need opinions, pictures on headlights

I'm getting ready to mount the headlights on my open wheel roadster. I know the placement can make or break the aesthetics of the front end. I'd like to hear preferences and see pictures of what you guys like to see. thanks

I like em' down low and not too far apart...

I like 37 to 46 Chevy PU lights because they're long kinda like a tear drop.

No way to tell you without seeing what you are working with. Post up a dead on frront view without headlights so we can visualize it better. Also give us a picture of the lights you will be using.

Just thinking, wasn't I the one asking for pictures in the first place? Pictures of cars you guys liked? I know everyone always wants to see pictures, me too, that's why I asked.

Alrughty then. I'll go dig through my old magazines and see what Baskerville said about it. He was dead on with every opinion he had on hot rods. Pretty sure there was a good thread on the subject over on the HAMB a couple years ago, I can probably find that.

This is how I like them also. I'll add that I like them not too far in front of the grill. I hate to keep posting photos of one of my own cars but since you asked for photos, this is whre I like to set headlights on a fenderless car...

BED said it. Low and close. Is there any other option? The one thing like Gas said, keep 'em beside the grill.

If you have them high it'll start looking like Grandma's Model T.
