I've got that photo contest going (link in Sig) and I'm thinking about a Max Grundy t-shirt for third prize, but I'm kind of stuck on second prize. Any ideas?

I could also use some ideas how to boost participation. I see cool pics in build threads and all over RRR. So how do I get them to get out their cameras and phones and enter? Do I need to spread the word more? Do you all think you don't take cool pics? Heck, most high falutin' art is 90% BS.

How do I get ya'll to get out and snap some new pics?

I just need to motivate myself to do it, Sam. I am really stoked to enter, I just haven't got to it yet. Unfortunately a lot of the good pics I have of my truck are done by others.

Maybe it's harder for yo guys than I think it is? Or are you guys thinking it's harder than it is? Me, I usually just shotgun snap a bunch of pics and hope I got a good one.

I have been so busy I just haven't had time to go through the thousands of pics I have and pick out some. This work thing is killing my play time.....

Why dig through old pics? Take a new one! Or 3. That's what I'm getting at. I think you guys might be over complicating this.

When I get home today, I'm gonna go to my shop and take pictures of 5 things in less than 5 minutes and post them. Shotgun 3 of each, and pick the best ones. See what I get and see what you guys think.

I think I'll make the rule a flat enter up to 3 pics. Simple.

Thanks for the feedback already guys! I'm starting to see a couple of problems already.

I definitely should go with 3 entries per person so it frees everyone up to take some creative risks. The cancel out part is confusing or being missed by some.

And it seems like most think they need to post a staged pic of their finished car. I get just as excited over a pic of a crankshaft or rusty gas can.

One of the most memorable pics on RRR to me is Earthman's parts in a pool. I don't remember now if it was that good, but it sure was unique.

Kenny - Give your Flip-Phone a chance. I shot this with my Flip-ph. 8 years ago. Still using it today. All the pics I've posted on RRR are with my Flip-Phone.
