I'm not unhappy with how it's going, I'm concerned that next round will fall flat.

My point was with those 5 pics, there is a lot more to take pics of than a finished car parked nicely. I'm trying to figure how to get ya'll to think outside that box. (I kinda liked the nuts and bolts pic)

What I figure is fair game:
Old or ratty, and automotive related.
If it has wheels, had wheels, or has to do with anything with wheels.

Drag racing, a gas station, old semi trailer, pile of parts, etc.

Prize - I'm trying to think of something that is cool, but you wouldn't buy for yourself. And is functional somehow.

How do I deal with pics that don't abide by the rules? I didn't think about the fact you can edit your post for a time.

I have to stay strict on editing, size, and people, pets, profanity.

So the guys I tell right away have a chance to change/fix their pic. [S. How about a pic I don't catch for a day? They are at a disadvantage then.

I can't have the thread muddled up with a bunch of duplicated and extra pics either. Somebody has to be able to pic the Poll winners easily.

Any pics not meeting the rules at the time of the close of the round are disqualified. You can only edit your post until the end of the round, and go by the honour system?

Sam I think in round one you should be you normal helpful self. Then just play it down the middle, the rules stand as written.

I think if you violate anything but the editing/size rules it gets disqualified. Otherwise you get one re-edit per round. Is that simple enough?

Simple enough and more than fair. As an offender, I appreciate a second chance. I also appreciate the clutter it may create.

I don't know, but I'm not sure I can handle that kind of responsibility!

Seriously, I'm not sure I want to get into that, because it just opens a bigger jar of problems.

My biggest concern is keeping it open to the guys that don't have a lot of tech experience.
