I have a picture of the motor now for anyone who wanted to see it



Also, I looked under it and as far as I could tell the drive shaft isn't enclosed at all from the tranny to the rear end? Will a 350 bolt in or will I need to weld in some new motor mounts?

(Ps not too sure why the pics are always sideways?)

Probably not a bolt in affair... there are many things involved besides just motor mounts here. What condition is the stock motor in? Sounds like it may be a good experience to just try to get the stock motor going, even if it means rebuilding it...

There are 5 bolt holes. What does that mean?

Going through WB's comments, I'm guessing he is getting at 1/2 ton had a 5 lug and the 3/4 ton had a 8 lug. (guessing!)
