New member from northern illinois

just joined the site have been over on kb for awhile and saw a few builds over there that were also builds on here and decided that i need to be on this site as well

i bought this 38 chevy 1.5ton for my first rat rod project. it came with the 37 chevy half ton bed and a spare back half of a second cab and most most importantly had a title and everything

the truck is very complete the only thing missing for the most part is the original seats and the fuel tank so i figure its a good canidate to start with

anyway on with the pictures

also im open to any suggestions that are offered

I thought about that..i kind of want something alittle smaller and easier to drive around..theres not much in the small town i live in and it takes me close to an hour to get to most places i want to go and i would like to be able to drive it everywhere

EFI motor, overdrive trans, newer dually axle, figure out everything and get it to get some MPG. Nothing beats a DD thats 30 feet long LOL !! ................ Whatever

Thanks for all the support guys. thing have been crazy lately so i still havent been able to get anything done on it. ive just been collecting parts so that when i do have a chance to work on it i have what i need. will keep everyone posted on any new updates
