i think there has been a steady influx. i know that i am still pretty new, but even since i have joined there have been a good number of CONTRIBUTING members.

Seems like there are more and more people interested in rats, especially in the current economic conditions. Rats are much cheaper to build and get more attention at shows and on the road. What's not to love about that?

RRR just has a mojo of it's own. People stay friendly and polite and new people are always welcome.
that being said, I have also left forums that were awesome when there was a couple hundred members who all got along and then they started coming in droves and snot nosed kids over ran the site, it ain't purdy. Most of the wisdom just packed up and moved on.

Well my first try was at KB the admin told me where to go before I even got in the door, it was not his job to judge me before I even typed a word but he did.

Like mom said, just dont say anything if it's not nice.... Soooo I just speak highly of this place, Rat Rods Rule and the people who drive'em r cool !!!!!

I really have no need to join another site I think the Captian of the ship has something to be proud of, and I know I'm a little slow on the Hello page, but so u will know I'm old, I'll do better as I get older...

I'm one of the new guys on the site, and I'll tell ya what-"I'm glad I ran into this site when I did ". I wasnt too happy with the "other" sites I was registered on. I love talking cars with anybody,and I mean anybody! Just as long as I dont have to "second guess" my posts cause I think Im gonna get alot of "cyber stones" thrown at me .RRR seems to be that site I've been looking for. Thanks !

Has anyone also noticed how many build projects are being posted ? Wow, there are a bunch of them. Anymore when you post an update on your own project it gets covered up by 3 more build updates immediately. Nice to see so many cars going together.
