New radar guns... lazer?!? Anyone?

The boys in blue have a new type radar gun around these parts... maybe it's lazer but it doesn't make my detector go off (yet). It looks like a pair of binoculars & looks like they're looking through them with both eyes but so far no alarm on my detector. Not sure if they are just looking for someone that looks like they are speeding & didn't pull the trigger or something. Anyone seen or know anything about these new devices?!?

They've had laser in VA where I'm from for probably 15+ yrs. The guns looked pretty much just like a radar gun.

I'm guessing they were spotting or something - one cop sits on the side of the road or overpass and clocks people, radios up to cop #2 to pull them over. Probably cop #2 using the binocs to spot the car that cop #1 had clocked.

Laser's are the latest and greatest.... can pick out a car within a group of cars.... not like Kbands.....that sometimes batch them all together..... to be honest, most times it's pretty easy to spot the speeders.... they are passing everyone in all the lanes..... they make it easy..... LOL...5 over...who cares... 10 over....closer look, 15 over we have a chat.... anything over that.... well it depends on the reason... I love it when they tell me they're not from this area..... I just ask them..."don't they have speed limit signs in your town?"... they usually just give me that blank stare..... God I love this job....[ddd
