Hey guys,
Long time lurker, wanted to finally introduce myself. I've been into cars since I was 13... Helped my Dad restore a 1971 Monte Carlo, which was then my first car - he still owns it. Spent most of my money the past 10 years on Muscle Cars - first a '67 ChevyII, then a '69 Camaro... Caught the rat rod bug a couple years ago, and been collecting parts since... Putting together a '31 Model A pickup. Will be channeled 5", chopped 4.5", 283 SBC w/ TH350, custom Z'd frame, and a big/little tire combo... Since I have two little ones who love to go to the shows with me, I'm making this truck an extended cab, with a functional back seat. Once I've made a little progress, I'll start a build thread and keep you up to speed on whats happening. I have most of the major parts collected to get going quickly on this. I can't wait to get it on the road!! I've attached a rendering I drew of how I hope it turns out...
