Been liking the rat rods for a while now. Being at Hot August Nights and seeing some killer ones in person really gets me in the mood to build one.

Hopefully I can find the time/money to make the one I'm dreaming of

Welcome to the site. There are ways to build one on the cheap. Don't be cheap on brakes, and steering.

so far the idea is an old 1/2 ton. S2000 motor. Discs all around and on the ground

Probably start with the shell, frame and s2k motor, and then over time z the frame and get discs on it
