Been working out of town for the last ten days or so and it was time to unwind. My son and I threw some mismatch headlights on and hit the road. (they was heavy equipment lights at that) My rides no where near done but it's safe. We put about 50 miles on her. We was cold but both of us had grins the whole time. Going to hit the road again tomorrow after a carb swap and some tuning.

Anyone else taking advantage of the warm weather? Suppose to be in the low 60s again Saturday.

I've been taking advantage of the COOLER weather down here. The days have been in the high 70's low 80's versus 95, like it was all Summer. The nights are down around high 60's low 70's and it is perfect roadster weather.

Last Saturday night I took my car to the club where my Son Don was playing and the ride home at midnight was actually a little chilly.........I loved it. Tonight I did some spark plug and distributor cap changing to get ready for my drive to Daytona in about two weeks, and then I took it for a test drive. It felt really great to be out in the cool night. This is the weather we Floridians live for all year. [cl

Yep, warm weather as opposed to HOT! 3 car shows today in the model a wearing a leather jacket. (no windows) Waited thru a looong summer for this weather. Fall is this best time of the year anywhere i have been.

Wish we had some more shows to hit around here. Going to have to settle for swap meets instead.

Drove the willys to meijers and the farm supply store. We got more thumbs up by the "older generation" then anyone. Even had a old lady ask if she could take a pic of my wife and I. lol

I put the rpu in the garage yesterday. It was supposed to snow today. Snow missed us but it's 12 degrees right now. I started the wood stove today. All next week is supposed to be 50s so I might get it out again but plan now is to get the vega box installed. Which means the fuel pump has to go and to install the electric pump, might as well get rid of the 5 gallon golf cart tank and get the permanent one in. Seems so typical, to do one thing in the front, I have to start at the back and work my way up.

Old Man Winter is about to drop the hammer. The hot rods are hibernating in the back garage.
