Noob/salvage yard treasures

Hi all, New to the board. Ive been lurking for some time as I want to begin my first rod project. Southern Indiana is home but ive been everywhere racing from Arizona to Florida. Drag racing is the life that ive chosen but im slowing down and want to get into rat. With racing, ive always raced what i had but now its time to park them to follow this dream i keep having...Ill post some thumbs of them below.

Im sure im gonna have a ton of stupid questions so please bear with me. Working operations in a salvage yard will have its benefits on this deal. GAURENTEED!!!

Somehow with your background I don't think the term "noob" fits. :D Welcome to the forum, really glad to have you here.

Nice looking rides, they had to be pretty exciting. Looking forward to your contributions here.

Right now, car bodies are doing really well, we buy probably 20-30 a day with some being drove in and easy to fix. Not a whole lot of old stuff but 60's 4-doors are quite popular but the bread and butter is newer compacts..

this car here, the girl went off to school, left it in moms drive and mom wanted it gone. I paid 200 for it and ive drove it for about 7 months...24 valve v-6, power everything. Nice little car

I didnt get to go over it very well but it was freaking huge, longer than a standard panel. Ive been looking at the IH but I want to do a bobber style truck and the cowl/firewall area is really big and im afraid of what it will look like.

Heres a couple of more i thought you guys might like...including the binder i metioned before.
