howdy ya,ll my name is tex,, i am from the hills of alabama,, been working on car and trucks and bikes for a while,, harley davidson trained mechanic, rat rod builder.. and missionary,, just got back from peru,, and have started my cross breed 46 48 ford f1,, was dreaming about it, for 2 1/2 months while i was gone,, and i would like to say, AMERICA,, theres no place like home,, peace ya,ll

I would guess the rat rod scene is big in South America, but I am thinking daily drivers, and horse drawn cars. (too third world?)

yeah your right, i was in one part that it only rains 65 days out of the year, and only at night,, cars dont rust,, i was surprized at how many classic cars i saw.. some of which i wish i had!! ll

well i have a 53 flatty a 88 5speed,, going to push the front axle out front with a suicide set up, and under sling the frame in the rear, possible a set of old sportster head lights,, tombstome tail lights,, and rust bout it,, big rust rims, on the rear and skinny rusty rims in the front,, and drive it.. i thimk i am the only rat rodder in the area,, at the beginning of the hot rod show season i was denied access in the show,lol for my 53 chevy with no bed and windshield, and they told me, that it didnt look safe,, i soon put a bed on it cause the law was looking at me, figured a ticket was coming, lol anyway,, pic will be posted soon as progress begins
