Here are some interesting pics from the yard. How often do you see a yard like this anymore, very few are left that haven`t been shut down by the city or state.

Kool stuff! Looks like that T behind the barn was once a hotrod. Wish there was a place like that around here, I could spend hours in a yard like that.

hahahaha that looks just like the antique auto ranch in spokane washington the farther u dig the more cool stuff u'll find but u better have had ur tetness shot firts:eek:
 
Yes we shot 90% of Hot Rod Horror there over a 1 year period, there has been a other films that shot a scene or two there.

I wonder how much a yard like that would sell for.

My thinking: we have 3155 members at RRR. If each member chipped in $100 we would have $315,500. If that amount were enough to buy the whole lot, each member could claim $100 worth of parts. Any purchases by a member would be based on current market sale price. Excess $ would have to go to taxes, insurance, upkeep, etc.

It would most likely end up causing hard feelings amongst members here, but dare to dream...
 
there was a yard in somerset,pa that had all 20-40's stuff the auctioned all of it off a few months back
 
I know of two yards near me that are still loaded with old tin. One of em has nothing newer than 1946. (something to do with WWII, owner didnt want to give the gov't his cars) The other had its haydays in the fifties, then trickled off through the sixties. Soo much old tin, soo little cash.:( Both yards are heavin.

Couple other yards around with some old tin, but nothing to write home about yet. The search continues.
