I have a question for you seasoned rat rodders. On my 48 F1 , I am running the stock front axle along with stock brake system. Well, the PO decided that the truck looked better with Model A wheels on the front. But, in order to do that , he had to do away with the front brake drum, I assume because of clearance issues I think. Is there a way to have front brakes on a stock 48 front end with Model A wheels on the front? I love the look of the spoked 16 inchers , but not the idea of not having front brakes. Everything is there except the drum , pads, and springs. The wheel cylinders are there along with backing plate and brake lines.Any help would be appreciated.

Well, so I gather from that thread on the "other" forum that with the adapters you can run the stock drum on the front? I don't know why ,but it didn't look like there was enough room for the drum to go on. Anybody?
