old windmill

so I bought a 30' elgin wonder model b windmill last weekend. needed so small things to be working again, so I jumped right on it.

Will it be functional?
Lots of those are still in use just north of me. About 100 miles north is a guy who sells and works on old windmills, has a windmill junkyard.

I do want to put a pump below it. We have a really shallow water tabke. Like 15' so I could make it functional very easily. The gear box is all in working condition, so it would be easy.

I am located in central washington. I enjoy the view from the top. My wife said it's to high lol

My brother used a tower for a deer blind on his deer lease in Texas. Where they bait bambi's in with corn and kill them.
