Ever have one of those days.:D
I had an engine crate my brother had a 454 on laying on my shop entranceway. This morning I fell backward over it .Was holding a box fan and it went flying like a frisbee. The only thing seriously hurt was my dignity and box fan. When I checked it out one leg was broke off.Glad my shop is behind house so none of the neighbors saw me.
I came in for lunch and tripped on grocery bag a kitten had played in and left in middle of floor.
Glad I finished day in one piece.:)

We all have them, it's what makes life interesting.

Falling backwards over the skid could of been nasty, glad it wasn't.

Yep, glad you're alright ;)
I had a pickup on the 2 post lift and had my ball cap on, I turned around and started walking only to run right into the end of one of the lift arms. Hit so hard it knocked me down, I started to get mad  but, I broke out in a belly laugh, thinking how funny it must have looked :p
No one else around to enjoy it with though :(
Glad I didn't damage my lift

Man o man, I'm glad you didn't whack your head or something!

I think we all do this now and again, I know I put up a network rack one time in a small room, mounted it to the wall, then I was bent down picking up some tools and stood up right into the rack I just put up, damn near knocked myself out.... Sometimes you wonder how you forget its there when you just put it there...

I had one of those days Sunday morning...Drive three hours to watch the Redskins take on the Baltimore Ravens. Walk up a grassy/muddy hill toward the stadium, and all of a sudden I found out my feet didn't move as fast as the rest of my body when gravity wanted to take over. Trying to keep my camera out of the mud, I tried stopping myself with my left hand (all 250 pounds)....I didn't succeed on either account.

The camera still works in spite of the mud, and my left hand is securely wrapped in an elastic bandage (and sore as heck. Typing one handed right now)

I keep finding out I don't "bounce" near as well as I used to :D

Haha, nice imagery.

I have an old carport off the side of my garage the previous owner built out of 2x6's and water pipe. It is 6' tall and I am 6'5".

I swear I knock my head on that thing at least once a month. I'm usually carrying something or looking at the ground and smack the top of my head on it.

When the day comes that I can knock that p.o.s. down, I'll be a happy guy...with a sledge and a plasma cutter. :D

I have a dog and a cat and they're both trying to take me down constantly. They better hope this fat boy doesn't land of top of them one day!

RoddingRon, good to see another skins fan here. Ive been one for 30 years now. Got my first John Riggins card in 82 and still have it today. I was passing through Dallas 2 weeks ago wearing my Griffin III jersey and I think I may have offended a few at the gas station.

I didn't fall or anything, but the thread title prompted me to reply.

I spent the day welding in new door jambs on my '27 T coupe (making suicide doors from scratch). Cut the old ones out, and got the replacement fit really good, or so I thought. One side went in no problem. The driver side has been fighting me all afternoon. Lots of burn through, re weld, grind, burn though, re weld, grind, etc. All afternoon. The car was clearly not happy with me. It was definitely "one of those days".

Amazing how a 1 hour project can be squeezed into 6. [S

Best to walk away...

Come back tomorrow and it normally goes no problem.....think we've all been there and done that.....so shake it off and hunker down.....lol...[cl
