Perfect! I did that with a students phone in my high school class that was texting during my lecture. I took the phone, then switched it with an old one and wrapped it in a rag. Just so happens I was doing tool ID, soi put the rag wrapped phone on the table and vigorously used a ball peen hammer on it. I made my point, and didnt have to buy him a new phone! Kids still talk about it.

I can believe, in this day and age, people still talk and drive with those stupid things. My cellphone is always off unless I have to call AAA. I was at a car show, talking to a buddy but his cellphone would ring every couple of minutes. I finally asked him if he was the President and if his cellphone was the "hot line" to the Krelim? If not, turn that damn thing off!!! He did!

I consistently get next to people I see looking at their phones or texting and I lay on the horn. They just don't realize the dangers and how quickly you could kill someone

A guy I work with had to go with me to a job at FSU last week. He wanted to drive. On the drive up there he started watching Family Guy on his phone while flying down the road at 80 MPH
I couldn't believe it. He says he does it all the time. Needless to say, we had a "little discussion' about his phone use while I was in his car.
