I've seen some of that build before but not since it's been painted. The Kaiser looks awesome and I've been tempted to do a body swap with a mid 90's caprice too. I think the straight 8 is whats keeping me from doing that.

Oh yeah, Packard guys can be really twitchy about modified cars, especially when they turn out as kool as yours. I felt some of that backlash when I rodded a 47 2dr. The Packard resto guys had turned their noses up at it for the couple years that it was for sale before I bought it, saying it was too far gone, rotten, etc. Different story when I finished it and took it to a show with a lot of vintage resto cars attending - " how could you do that to a rare Packard !", lots of whining and crying, but where were they when it was about to go to the crusher ??
I say take it to to a Packard meet and watch them squirm !
