Pets And Rods

I searched and found nothing so figured I might as well start my own. The VW site that I frequent has a thread on "Your Dogs In and Around Your VW" so why not here except with rods? Doesn't even have to be your rod. Anyhow, here's my main squeeze Sophie in front of a rod at a local rod run.

My two little buddies Scooter and Sniffy are no longer with us, but they were always underfoot when I was working on something. I had to keep picking them up because they would plop down on my tools so I couldn't find them. They were really good cats.

Very cool. Maybe once I get my 33 done I'll have a few pictures with Sophie in the passenger seat. She does enjoy riding in the rest of my running rides.

This is Sampson aka "old man" riding in my skid steer with me. He's got cancer and is on borrowed time and he knows it. He won't leave my side, including while I operate equipment. Gonna miss the old man, he's been with me for almost 15 years.

Aw, that is terrible. So sad when a pet that has been with us forever passes on. I feel for you and for Sampson.

Me and Stormy girl in my volksrod. We lost her to cancer a couple of weeks ago, she would have turned 13 in October. She was the the sweetest pup.

2 cats here, not much help in the shop but they love to garden. Sis next door has 2 dogs and they hang out when the cats let them. Buckwheat is Corgie/Border Collie and he's a hoot, always smiling.

Willie the Standard Poodle wanted to go with me drag racing the Crosley. He's gone now, but we had 14 years together.
