Looks like some solid old trucks, the 40's Chevy looks real nice, as does the AD with the dead tandem. Around here, anything that old was put in the woods and used for pulpwood trucks and beat to hell, then scrapped out. About the only ones to survive would have been yard trucks, used to move stuff around on a lumber yard or something like that, and even then they were beat up.:(
 
We're lucky in farm country because the trucks often just got used seasonally and got stored inside. A year ago we bought a 37 Chevy and a 39 GMC that had been stored inside most of their lives and only used for planting, harvesting and hauling wheat to market.
 
Awesome find. There were 2 yards like that near me,...one disappeared just after I discovered it in the town I live in,.....and another I looked at all my life. And 2 weeks after I went and took pics of the cars, the lot was emptied out.
