finally getting started again
well i got my rear end hanging minus my radius rods for the moment. i also borrowed a pallet dolly from my dad so i can get around the car a little better. i've done some rough framing for the floor because the car was real flimsy and wanted to go 4 different directions. some of this will be removed. i'm in the process of making some loops for the driveshaft right now. the floor in the pics are just laying in there for right now. i finally got to sit in this car and it's a tight fit. my knees are in my throat, but it sure does look cool

great ride doghouse, that is how i did my shackles of the wishbones, worked good for me, keep up the good work ...

haven't had much time lately. i got a new job. here's a few new pics. i've started the trans crossmember for the frame and i've been toying with the frontend again. i don't have any pics of that at this time. this is my other dash i shortend and some loops i made using pie cuts.

finding some time
well i'm trying to make more time to work on the 29. i've split a set of what i believe are 37 ford wishbones? they are tacked on for the time being and i've been screwing around with my interior. i also pieced together some motor mounts out of some scraps i had. right now i'm trying to save money for my rear wheels so i can have a roller.

found some taillights for the ride at a swap meet and scored some seats in the trash around the corner. may swap the engine out. looks like a may be getting a nailhead on a trade. i'm gonna keep the 327 that's in the car but don't know if i'm gonna run it. also mounted my grill and started playin with the headlights.

a little closer
well i'm feeling a little more motivated lately. put this cast skull a buddy gave me in the spot where the radio was. it's on a hinge, so you can tilt it back to open the ashtray. finally got some tires on the car. got this cool air cleaner, 2 rebuilt 94s, an additional 2 barrel from a mid 50's ford, 2 frog mouth air cleaners, and an offy adapter for $300. i need to get the adapter from speedway so i can use the 94s. i also started making some lake pipes out of some lamp poles i found in the scrap at work and an old set of headers. the last two pics are from a small car show i went to last dec. they were the same folder so i included them. i never get tired of chics and cars.

headers
got a little work done on my headers. by little i mean fitted. i'm gonna borrow the plasma cutter from work to cut the holes in the cones. they are pretty beat up from getting chunks of stators thrown on them in the scrap. oh well, it gives the car character. i also got my steering gear box mounted today. if it wasn't so hot i would probably be more efficient. [

these wheels are just rollers. i have no shocks yet. i'm gonna run 7.50-16s in the rear when she's done. i'm shut down for a little while due to a long move. i'm moving to odessa, tx, so if there's anyone close by into hot rods, drop me a line.
