hey RustyDusty...that's funny...I traded an '80 sportster that needed wrist pin bushings reamed for a '67 BSA 650 Chopper, with Amen plunger frame, raked neck, and drag bars. It was Bike Week in Daytona and needed a ridable bike. Loved my BSA and from light to light it showed those Harley that they couldn't keep up..LOL! Missed the '80 as I had rode it out to Sturgis in '92 and rebuilt it after that into a screamer. I also had a '76 Sporty that I engraved skulls and roses and vines with leaves all over it and painted it 3-day old blood maroon. Ltr...John T. sorry no pics as I don't have any on the old puter.
Heres a couple pics of mine. Its been a good bike for me. I got a king tank and fatbob rear fender i'm gonna get painted and put on before summer is over.
picked this up over the weekend. I have to do gaskets and seals + helicoil 1 plug hole on the guy's shovelhead for it. About 150 out of pocket. It is a 59 xlch with good compression but missing a few parts. I didn't bitch.
