Just unveiled at Hot Rod Power Tour today, Project X (originally from Popular Hot Rodding and now lives with Hot Rod Magazine) is back to a gasoline engine from its electric swap in 2021. Now it's a 632 GM Performance Parts crate engine with over 1,000 hp NA.

Lucky and Alex from Hot Rod Garage did most of the swap for the Hot Rod Garage show.

I’m in love with Alex! A true hot rod gal who loves to go fast and can turn a wrench!
Good to project x return to it’s roots. I figured Frieburger and Finnegan might end up fixing it one of these days.

I wish Power Tour had been closer to me this year. Never had time to go before, now have time and it’s too far away.

Alex is a great choice for HRG. I've been watching her since long before she was on HRG and she's really fun to follow along with. She has really elevated the builds they do on the show. She's a great welder, too.

I want to go to power tour one year. It's a car guys dream cruise.

i have watched and read the changes of this car as far back as i can remember. i remember in the late 70's early 80's when it got the 2 th400's as well as many other things before that even.
