Propane power

I just bought a 92 F-250 yesterday with dual fuel. The whole propane setup is on there but he was only running it on gas. Does anyone know anything about this stuff? The $2.25 a gallon is very attractive. I know about the slight loss of power and milage, I want to find out about the workings of this fine gem.
BTW, it is a decent looking single cab with the big ZF 5 speed and I paid $600

Good score W/3. The conversion kit alone was worth much more than that. Many fleets around here use propane. Will be interesting to see what you discover about it. What engine does the truck have?
