I think that is great. I wish more people would teach kids about guns.I know you taught him safety 1st. Most folks today teach kids to be scared of guns. Last week ,here in Augusta,a 15 year old,playing with a gun,shot a baby,that was in the house.He probability took the mag.out and thought it was empty ,but there was one in the chamber.I wish they would teach gun safety in school,but I know that ain"t going to happen.
