Wow, you want to know something funny............I bought gas at the Sunoco station they list in Ft Myers a while back, while on my way past there. The car got FANTASTIC milage and I kept wondering why that tank lasted so long. I mean, it wasn't just slightly better, but A LOT better !

Wonder if that was the reason? I'm taking my 27 out there for a fill up.

I've noticed the same thing.

Ethanol blended crap is just that, crap. PURE CRAP to be exact. I refuse to burn it as long as I can get the unraped version.

Here, the pumps are marked if it's mixed. "May contain up to 10% Ethanol". That's nice if you want to avoid it.

What they should say is, "10% Ethanol + 5% Water = 100% Garbage".

Not a single station near me.....

Sells gas without a sign that says "may contain as much as 10% Ethanol"...
the only fuel I'll run is BP here..... considering the difference in fuel mileage and performance I get using it....I would say that it contains the least amount of that crap than any others..... bought gas at the Kroger store....lost nearly 4 mpg on a tank... you are right guys...it's crap!!!

Thanks for posting this [cl
I just printed off the list, I'm gonna keep it in my vehicles and patronize those stations on it ;)

That's good info if it's currennt. Thanks C-Dog. I'm going to check the station that's listed for my area to see if the information is still good.

I'm really glad you posted that list. I honestly couldn't figure out why that tank of gas lasted so much longer.........I drive pretty much exactly the same places every week and know how long a tank lasts me. My car dash tells me how many gallons of gas are in my tank and with that fillup it stayed on full for the longest time. I thought the gauge had stuck.

I even made a comment to my Son that I filled up at Sunoco and for some reason my milage improved. Very odd.

I stopped a few weeks ago and put gas in my F250 at an ethanol free station.

I usually fill up once every two weeks an drive 200 miles per week making 400 miles on a tank, (well two tanks in my F250 one fill up).

When I switched to ethanol free I was able to add another 72 miles on the same fill up.

So 400 miles on my tanks means 16 mpg, 472 means, 18.88 and that is a huge difference out of a 1995 F250 with 351 engine and 120k miles. I dare say that almost matches an new F150.

As to gas with ethanol. I put a gallon in my hot rod and I have that clear red fuel line going from my tank to my filter, oh about 3 inches of it.

I let it sit for a few weeks and now the fuel line is clear, no color, and my carbs started bleeding red fuel, can't be good. Have to drain the tank and clean the carbs and change the fuel lines before I try starting again.
