Fiberglass '34 Chev Roadster race car shell.
Just picked this up off of CL. Like most old Chevies, it will need wood installed.
Just from loading it in my truck, I am itching all over. The width is perfect, but it is about 20 inches longer than the former '32 Bantam body.
If I chicken out on using it, I am pretty sure i can get my investment back.
Kind of a sad story. The shop that made it had a fire, and all the molds were destroyed. 40+ years of building car bodies gone. This is likely the last one.
I just got the black shell. No front end available. I am thinking that tapering the running boards down to the cowl would fix that. We don't need no stinking... Open it up for two seats, follow the directions in the fiberglass thread. Nothin' to it! Right???
How do I make it look rusty?
