I have seen some really cool wagons on here and other forums, and decided to start one so I can have it ready for my son in time for his 1st birthday and July4th parade next year.
I have been looking for a way to build a mini I-Beam front axle so I can suicide it our front, and I think I figured it out today and wanted to share:
I am going to try to make the drilled I-Beam and scale spindles from the following:
$4 tire iron from Harbor Freight cut, bent and welded into shape (it doesn't look straight on their website, but it is except that last inch on either side)

1/2" ID steel tube for Bosses
Oilite Bushings
Paint these into whitewalls: http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-10-inch-groove-tread-tire-40729.html
1/4" rod for radius rods
Utility trailer leaf spring for transverse front
This is just a test to see if I could weld to it before I started drilling and shaping it, but so far I think 1 or 2 of these would be perfect:
