My ratrod of the day

Broke loose from shooting pool tonight just as the moon was coming up. Was hoping to get better pix but have not fiddled with my camera much on night shots so they didn't come out very good. It might have helped if the moon had been coming up about sundown so I had the light working with me...it's pitchassblack out here. Anyhoo, it's a blast to drive and the moonlit road was beautiful all the way home....

I shot about 15 pix but those were the only two that showed any detail at all. I've got a pretty nice Nikon but haven't played with it much. The only setting I see on it for night shots is" night portrait" but it auto flashes on that setting.
