Ken here I stumbled across this site and found a group of like minded people . The rat rod is the essence of the beginning of the hot rod sport , Use them modify them race them. My background is brit bikes often rat . My heart is currently in working sheet metal . I have come up with the way to make motorcycle style fenders . These are crowned not flat . I find bare metal beautiful and except the subsequent rust another form of beauty

I'd love to see a tech thread on how you make your fenders. PA41 came across a way of making curved fenders using a buck and hydro-ram. Same idea?

I should have posted them to begin with so here they are.
I taught myself to stump shrink then built an English wheel . That led to buying a pullmax and spending unbelievable quantity of time developing tooling and learning . I have made them in steel , aluminum, and stainless.
