there is progress outside this,, but i distracted myself with this little project .
i always liked the Avanti stylised "S" and had a spare trunk badge, which fits the hood , copied a new base
and with a little sticky mess.
i was hoping hoping the gold insert would take, ended up using a high sparkle chrome like paint palm sanded with 2000 grit, the next step would be to buff with a cutting compound to get that new look. is painted on the back
fairly well pleased with the result... as a test
I will use a thick plastic base for the "S" - the surrounding edges will be neater.
