When you live in the north you will do anything to seal a vehicle up when it's cold out. With as rusty as are stuff gets its pretty common to see spray foam in older rides.

I think you are supposed to use a razor blade to shape it

We used to have to do things like that when I lived in Pennsylvania to pass state inspection. If they saw any rust holes you failed so we would use any kind of filler we could, even on rusted out frames. I have seen people put duct tape over holes and that would pass. Dumb law IMO.

great stuff makes a great base for building, repairing, and shaping panels, but you got to be sure to put a nice layer of duct tape over it before painting otherwise as previously stated it really soaks up the paint. Wonder what the crash test ratings are on it.

Crash ratings should be pretty good. It should absorb a lot of energy!
