Registration Help

I am wondering if anyone knows how to find out if a registration is open or not. I have one for my 1929 ford from Arkansas but it is from 1932. I don't know if I can use it or not. Can someone let me know how to check into this. I am in NY,the car is to be registered here.

Yep, no problem. AS long as it's not signed over to someone else. If it is, conveniently lose it and start over. Just do a VIN trace instead, alot easier than trying to find original owners and do alot more paperwork. Done the VIN trace many times cause most cars I've purchashed lately have no reggy. Easy to get reg prior to 1972 vintage as there is no title.
