Looking really good!

With how short of a distance it is between your fron A arm pivots you might want to go with the center pull rack. I think by the time you shorten a stock rack enough to get your acerman angle close you won't have enough left to get any steering ablility. The center pull allows the rack itself to be wider while putting the inner tie rod end where you need it for acerman. Just my $.02 [P

Thanks. Got one pieced together. Just need to find properly sized bellows now. I ran the suspension thru its travel with zero bump steer!

had a friend back in '63, built one of these. he was a sand buggy guy. he built quite a few corvair powered buggies. he put the whole suspension and engine of a corvair, in the back of his. naturally it stuck more out than in, including the tires. boy could that thing pull wheel stands though. it worked pretty good in the sand too. wish i had some pics of it still.

Finished up the shifter and made up some brackets and bracing to install all of the Miata e-brake parts.

Master cylinder is installed and the brakes are bled. The exhaust system is done. I used a dynomax vt muffler. It uses a spring loaded flap which increases back pressure at low rpm, very similar to the factory R1 header, and opens as rpm increases. Also reduces noise and droning at lower cruising rpm. I have heard that these mufflers sometimes rattle as the valve opens and closes but according to the manufacturer, it is brought on by a lopey idle, which the bike engine does not have. The car will look mostly stock but I think the the 3" exhaust may give it away!

Lookin' good. My guess about the 3" exhaust us that most will think it is just another kid with one of those fat tips in his exhaust. Then the critter will rocket off on two wheels, because that is what a sport bike engine thinks it should be doing. Right? Just watch out for the one-wheel tricks. [ddd
