Can you run a spacers between a set of dual rims? Id like to run taller tires, but need more space cause there a little wider.
Tnx for any help. RR:confused:

dont know if this helps you , depending if your talking about 6 or 8 lug. but there spaced diferent between the manufactures . like chevy, ford , and dodge . i dont remember which ones are the furthest apart . but something to check into .

Here you go RatRodney. Check these at the below link. If this is not the size you need, they will probably have it somewhere. These are adapters with the same bolt pattern, essentially serving the same purpose as a spacer. A spacer might be too thick to be safe in your application. I have purchased from this company and they produce a quality product.

Before you decide if you can/need to space out your rims you need to find out if you can put the larger tires on your rims... You said they are currently 33" tall... That tells me(educated guess) that what you have is really a 32" tall tire making it a 6" wide tire... And if you have the older style multi piece rims which I assume u do cause your truck is a 54...(if I am thinking of the right truck) You can't really oversize the tires much it seems to be more of +\- half an Inch from the nominal tire size that the rim was designed for so if your rim is designed for a 6...(so you can run 5.5-6.5) And I believe you don't get in to the 35 inch tall tires untill you get into the 7" wide tires

just food for thought... I am planning on running 35" tires out back on mine... But I have 7" rims out back... Wider then the rims I have up front

I thought you wanted really tall tires out back anyway... Like those 40" ones on that ford truck?

I still have some big rims that u could achieve 40" with 8.5 tires... But they are 10 lug pattern

you should also identify what style of rims you have there is one style that everyone says should not be run anymore... They were made by firestone... They are commonly reffered to as widow makers and split down the middle... I know they can be found on fords and Chevys maybe harvesters too? I'd look in to that...

I'm rambling now so I'll stop... Haha

while on topic

my tires are rubbin' my bones on my 49 and really dont want to cut and bend the bones in...im running a 46 axle and the bones are rather far out on on the axle...i was thinking wheel spacers too....im running 16x4 steelies on a 5x1/2 inch standard ford pattern...where do i get spacers...i check the truck link posted above and it all seems to be adapters....i just want to move em out 1/2 inch or so...thanks

the most important thing about dually wheels/tires is the tires can't touch each other or they will chafe, then blow out city. the side wall is the weakest link . height is only an issue as far as the fenderwell is concerned . Most new vehicles have 1" between the rear tires , loaded.
