Those are gorgeous! When I was a young marble shooting hustler, agates were what all the hustlers used as a shooter!

Same here... I had some really beautiful agates as shooters. My fav was a chocolate one with white stripes! I spent a LOT of time practicing! I was also proficient with tops & yo-yos!

Wow. Used to be a place here where for a couple of bucks you could break all the apache tears out of the soft rock that you wanted. There is a huge rock wall that stands in Apache Lake now with geodes allover it. Rock hunting is just one of lifes simple pleasures.

Those are cool! We toss stuff out of our dredge that looks like that, maybe i should pay more attention

Yes it is my friend, yes it is. I went arrow head hunting for my first time today. Went with a guy whose been doing it 60 years (same guy who found the fairburn last trip). I found a few napped stones like they used for skinning. He found an awesome Clovis point (Palio)

My brother in law lived in central MO near a creek. He would find arrowheads there regularly. He had a couple of smaller ones so perfectly formed they looked like they could have been laser cut.
