When Ross Perot ran as an indeprndent I placed signs all over town , had stickers on my car and truck. i worked hard talking him up to people. Would he have been effective had he won , who knows. I believe he was our one and only chance to break the strangle hold the 2 major parties have on us. When asked by Tim Russet the other day wether he would run as an independent Mr Paul replied that there was a 99% chance he would not. Seems he is more concerned with being a safe politican than really putting his ideas out for the public to hear them and decide. Although he says he is against congressional add ons he was top pork getter this last session. HE said "thats what the people he represents in his district wanted so he gave it to them. read that -he bought their votes with our money-seems Mr Paul is really no different that the rest of them. Im sorry to hear and learn that about him as I like his Libertarian ideas. No already in the system politican will ever be able to rise up and go against the rest. Never has happened and never will.
