round radio dial ???

The original radio that would have been in my '56 F100, if it had one, had a round dial. Does anyone know of an aftermarket radio with a round dial? I know there are companies that recondition and up date old radios, but I don't have an original.

I thought 55 Fords were round. At any rate you might try these guys.

Never seen an aftermarket radio with a round dial. You'd probably be better of to get or fab a radio delete blockoff plate, and put a aftermarket radio under the dash or in the glove box.

I just got to thinking. I may have a ford round dial radio somewhere in the shop I will look for it.

I went on that Custom Radio site (the guys who build modern stereos to look exactly like old radios) and they jump right over the 55 round dial ones. Looks like you might have to find an original and put an FM convertor on it if you want FM.

Just run the stock radio and run a mp3 player to a amp and speakers
