i did a bit of research on R&P conversions on S10s this morning. When I started my 39 Ford PU project, the conventional wisdom was that it could not be done. Well, now for a bunch of money it can be done. That said, if it can be done with an expensive kit, it can be done with junk yard parts on the cheap. Since cheap is me, I am open to suggestions. I'm using an '89 S10 standard cab short bed chassis. It seems like all the stuff I saw on line is super complicated. I know that steering is not a great place to cut corners, but if I am going to consider the idea, it has to be simple. I can fabricate and weld brackets. I don't have a machine shop.
