This is one of my favorite threads of all time right so far. Theres something about running on the saltflats thats so appealing to me. I love how the rigs look after running out there to.

I went to a car show Saturday and this new salt cycle was there. It is powered by a 1912, that's right, a 1912 Michalson engine. Ky Michalson, who is known for rocket powered go carts, snowmobiles & dragsters built this machine. His grandfather, maybe it was his great grandfather build Michalson Motorcycles shortly after the turn of the century and Ky had this old engine for this project.
