SBF Heater tie ins

I have built a sbf with an electric coolant pump. Problem is it has no connections for a heater. Could I run a tee off the outlet of the pump to the heater then back in through the intake coolant passage? would that have flow?

If you drill and tap the 90 degree neck then install a fitting you can.

I have seen in-hose "Ts" with a heater hose size outlet. Space considerations may hamper this idea, though.

Something like this would be fairly easy to make, too.

It'll flow the opposite, "hot" from the intake, "cold" return to the pump.
